NORTH LONDON FREIGHT. A look at the freight traffic on the important North London line, which provides a link between the Eastern Midland & Western regions. Classes include 31s, 33s, 37s, 47s, 56s, 59s and 60s.

ARCHIVE FEATURE: THE DELTICS. To mark the 10th anniversay (in 1992) of the withdrawal from service of the last class 55 ‘Deltics’. We use archive film to look back at happier times. CLASS 158s UNDER THE SEMAPHORES. The Highland Main Line has changed little over the years is still controlled by semaphore signals (in 1992). However, the motive power on the line has changed and today the high-tech class 158s provide the traction.
