ELECTRIFICATION NEWS:  An update on the Western electrification scheme to Bristol and South Wales with freight and passenger workings. The recently cleared line and infrastructure changes on the main line from Severn Tunnel Junction to Newport.

CUMBRIAN TRACTION NEWS:  Freight traffic in the North West with the long term closure of the Settle and Carlisle. Freight diversions are shown in the Carlisle area and over Shap along with familiar duties in the form of DRS Class 37s. COLAS power is featured on the diverted logs plus engineering traffic.

NORFOLK VISITORS:  The Prototype HST Power car along with the three main line 50s, 50007 ‘Hercules’,  50017 ‘Royal Oak and 50050 ‘Fearless’. They are shown in action along with visiting 37 905 and 45 133. In addition the Metro Cammell DMU is featured on the line to Hoe, recreating the East Anglian branch of the 1950s.

LINESIDE LOCATIONS:  Salford on the Brighton main line with freight and passenger duties.

CLASS 73 to the NORTH:  GBRF Class 73 on the Inverness Sleeper.
 
THE WEST COAST MAIN LINE:  Freight traffic on the Southern section of the route with Class 92s, 66’s, 87 002, Class 68s, Class 90s, Class 86s and DRS Class 37s.  Includes rare workings, stock moves and a Class 90 on the mail and stock move to Wolverton.
